It was a dark and stormy night, and it didn’t promise well for the day either. At 6:25 Lynn left for work wrapped up in balaclava, gloves, water proof jacket and trousers, still dark outside, windy, and still a bit wet. At 8:25, I left for work, similarly dressed, just as windy, and a light rain which got much heavier as I travelled over the 120metre hill between home and the shop. So what is remarkable about this? Well we both left a perfectly good car parked in the garage while we braved the elements, with every chance the return trip would be just as bad.<\/p>\n
