So we finally caved in and bought a leaf, or as I like to call it "Just another silver hatchback". 2014 X, 82% SOH, 71500 kms. Don't get me wrong, it's a great car, and will do exactly what we want it to do, but it is so boring! Compared to Squirrel, pictured with the leaf, it is heavy, expensive to run and so, so boring (or did I already mention that?). Very comfortable, a bit quieter than Squirrel, seats 5, slightly better range, and lots of bells and whistles. It also means we can get rid of our V6 Honda Odyssey and the fuel costs and service bills that go with it.

The best day's cycling I have ever done, exciting in parts, so much to see, even the easy parts are great to ride. The ride to the top of the Cairnmuir Staircase was my favorite bit. Picture of the Cairnmuir slide attached - how did you pixelate out the secret bits?
